TOPIC: Quantum dot spin qubits

Abstract
I will give an overview of the lateral GaAs quantum dot spin qubits from the perspective of the quantum computation. I will demonstrate the principle and experimental results on

• how the qubit states are encoded

• how the single and two qubit gates are performed

• what are the dominant relaxation and dephasing channels

• how the qubit basis is read out

A glimpse of our research contributions in this context will be included.
