Quantum Gravity from Quantum Computation: Applications

Abstract

This talk reviews the recent proposal to construct a theory of quantum gravity based on quantum computation, and presents applications of the theory, including:

  • Black hole evaporation and the quantum behavior of horizons and singularities
  • The holographic principle and the quantum geometric limit
  • The emergence of classical spacetime and
  • Quantum cosmology
